BMW Back in Google’s Index?
As one long week passes, Google has decided to let BMW back into its index after being accused of spamming its search engine. What does this mean to potential penalty breakers? If you’re big enough, its ok if you get caught because all you have to do is say your sorry?
I’m not quite sure want kind of message this sets for the rest of the SEO community. Whether of not BMW maliciously decided to partake in search engine Spam, Google as set aside its own guidelines for rule breakers. So when a company steps over the line, should it receive any preferential treatment?
Needless to say that when I read about the reinclusion, I was a little disgruntled. I’m sure if our site was penalized, I’d be lucky to even get a reply to my e-mail. Dear Google, uh hello….Goolge?, uh…its…you know the guy….hello? Well, you get the point.
