Podacasts are definately an uderused marketing tool. We rely heavily on video content but there's certainly some ideas there to "mix it up" as Chris says. Great article.

This is a great article. I've been talking with my team for sometime now pushing them to have a go at creating content through audio. It's very simple, requires very little editing, and it doesn't matter what you wear for your presentation! But seriously, I've now started recording Skype conversations with people (who are aware) and using snippets as promotional material.

Also, I've found that rather than creating lengthy emails or chat messages to answer individual peoples questions, it is quicker and more productive to do a quick audio recording and load it up to the relevant podcast sites for everyone to listen to.

Video has been dominating the sales pages and advertisements for a while now, but it's time to think out of the box. I'm a firm believer that if you drive by the same billboard everyday you soon switch off to its message. However, if you replace that billboard with a big inflatable, people will take notice again. Podcasts are a great way to mix up your communications with your audience.
